Flavor 360 offers in-home classes to teach you how to incorporate healthy habits into everyday routines. Ranging from only an hour to weekly classes for a month, every class is personalized based on what you want to learn. After talking about your needs we will design a class just for you. Check out some of the topics below.
INITIAL CONSULTATION. Discuss current food likes and dislikes, current eating habits and goals for changes, cooking habits and skill level to focus the direction for the class.
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT SHOPPING. Take a trip to a kitchen store to learn about and buy needed equipment. Discuss pros and cons of different kitchen equipment and what to buy based on agreed upon needs.
PANTRY CONSULTATION. Review existing pantry, refrigerator, and freezer products. Discuss what to keep, what to toss and what to avoid. Learn about replacing unhealthy items with healthy pantry stables that help with meal planning and easy week night meals.
GROCERY SHOPPING TRIP. Learn about how to navigate labels, decipher misleading marketing claims, and buy more real, whole foods.
MENUS + RECIPES. One full week of menus for breakfast and dinner w. dessert/snack recipes. Each recipe will include prep and cooking tips.
TIME TO COOK. Together we will prepare the 5 dinner menus that are provided. Great chance to learn new techniques and ask questions.
BABY FOODIES. Let me teach you how fun and easy it can be to make your baby’s first foods. All you need are basic kitchen skills, everyday equipment, and a desire to create exciting food for your baby. Classes are designed like a party. You get together a group of friends and family, and I’ll come right to your house. Together, we will make 2-3 recipes as you learn tips for cooking, pureeing, and storing homemade baby food. You keep what you make, with an added gift!
GROWING TODDLERS. Toddlers want to do everything for themselves, so let me show you some fun ways to get those little ones exploring food through flavorful finger foods they can feed themselves. We work on learning quick and easy muffin, soup and snack recipes, perfect for your budding foodie!
