Kicking off summer
Summer time has arrived – finally
Everyone in the Chef Kara camp is ready for all that summer has to offer – trips to the farmer’s market, berries warm from the sun, garden-ripe tomatoes, fresh herbs and loads of family time around the grill. Memorial Day weekend brought a healthy night around the grill complete with chicken sausages, grilled veggie skewers and corn on the cob.
Chef Kara’s husband even shucked the corn – and was rewarded with his favorite local beer – Aria by Perennial Artisan Ales.
Here’s to a nice long, delicious summer – enjoyed one bite at a time!
