At Home with Kara: Casual Elegance
A night at home doesn’t have to mean take out and pjs. We’ve been taking advantage of these long summer nights and this beautiful (read: freakishly cool) St. Louis summer.
A long dinner with the parents makes for the perfect night to sit back and reap the tastes that summer has to offer.
Our leisurely spread included fresh grilled corn, herb-marinated grilled chicken, and a peach and heirloom tomato salad with goat cheese. We enjoyed my father-in-law’s homemade wine (his best batch yet!) alongside gorgeous and delicious (if I do say so myself!) individual blueberry cobblers with fresh cream.
Ah…the dog days of summer…taste so good!
