I love to cook for mamas-to-be! Why not get the little ones on their way to being a foodie as early as possible? For this baby shower, I created a menu of warm comfort food that was perfect for the cold, snowy winter day. And I know for me, eating comfort food while I was pregnant was one of my favorite parts. (okay, maybe I’m a little bias). I had so much fun cooking all the food that I totally forgot to take pictures to share with you, so I snapped some quick pics on my phone of two of my favorites. The first was grilled cheese with bacon on house made Italian country bread served with creamy tomato soup and the second was butternut squash gnocchi with pancetta.
Alexa, thanks for letting me help pamper the new mama-to-be!
